This document describes the management methods of the WEB website (hereinafter SITE) with reference to the processing of personal data of users who consult it.
The information is also provided pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree of 30 June 2003 number 196 “Code regarding the protection of personal data” to those who interact with the web services (hereinafter SERVICES) of Alma Mater Europaea ECM accessible electronically from the address: almamater.international
The information is provided only for the Alma Mater Europaea ECM SITE and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user via hyperlink (hereinafter LINK).
A – THE “OWNER” OF DATA PROCESSING
Following consultation of this SITE, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.
The “owner” of their processing is Alma Mater Europaea ECM.
B – PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING
The processing connected to the SERVICES of this SITE takes place at the aforementioned headquarters and is handled only by the technical personnel in charge of the processing, or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations.
No data deriving from the SERVICES is communicated or disseminated.
The personal data provided by users who send requests for informative material (such as newsletters, answers to questions, etc.) are used for the sole purpose of carrying out the SERVICE or the requested service and are communicated to third parties only if this is to this end necessary.
C – TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING
Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this SITE acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment.
These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
Data provided voluntarily by the user The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails, including through electronic forms, through this SITE involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the missive.
Registration data
The information requested via electronic form will be used to allow access to the SERVICES.
To ensure the correct carrying out of all activities connected or instrumental to the provision of the SERVICES, Alma Mater Europaea ECM may, where necessary, communicate users’ personal data to other companies.
Furthermore, since registration is preparatory for accessing the SERVICES, the users’ personal data, once the service has been chosen and following further information, will be processed for the purposes connected and/or functional to the chosen SERVICE.
If the chosen SERVICES are managed by third parties, the data will be communicated to the individual managers. The latter operate as “data controllers” for the processing connected to the provision of the services within their competence.
COOKIES
No personal data of users is acquired by the SITE for this purpose.
Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are so-called cookies used. persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracking users.
The use of so-called Session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) are strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow exploration.
